The Wet Paints Studio Group is a non-profit organization of over 100 artists dedicated to promoting fine arts in the New York, Long Island area. Wet Paints has been in existence for 69 years, and provides workshops, visiting artist demonstrations, and networking opportunities for Long Island artists.  We also provide a scholarship fund which is awarded each year to a high school graduate seeking studies in art....  The commitment of our members, from novice to professional has made The Wet Paints Studio Group a strong and thriving art organization  and will continue to sustain us through the next millennium!!!

Club business & critiques of member's paintings are held the First  Tuesday of each month.
A demonstration of a style or medium is given on the Third Tuesday of each month.(Fee: $3 members/ $6 non-members).
The Second Fourth Tuesday are devoted to sketching/painting from a model.(Fee: $3 members/ $6 non-members).
