The Wet Paints Studio Group is a club of over 200 artists dedicated to promoting fine arts in the New York, Long Island area. Wet Paints has been in existence for 59 years, and provides workshops, visiting artist demonstrations, and networking opportunities for Long Island artists. We also provide a scholarship fund which is awarded each year to a high school graduate seeking studies in art....We are a non-profit organization. When we have our annual membership exhibits, our members donate their free time to coordinate receiving of artwork, hanging the show, compiling and printing brochures and presenting our wonderful reception tables. The commitment of our members to our organization has made The Wet Paints Studio Group a strong and thriving art organization for the past 59 years, and will continue to sustain usthrough the next millenium!!!
Meetings are held at the Gillette House on Gillette Ave. in Sayville at 7:30 Tues. evenings
